Get to Know Dr. Thompson
From Wisconsin cross country to Emory PT school.
Dr. Ethan Thompson, DPT, PT, Physical Therapist
I was born and raised in a small town in Wisconsin with my two older brothers. I attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where I majored in biology and minored in nutrition. I also ran four years of collegiate cross country and track and field at La Crosse. After completing my undergraduate studies, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia, to attend Emory University for my Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Core values: health in every facet, physical, mental, and social. I want to help people not only function better, but build a mind-body connection that offers them motivation and excitement about movement and exercise.
I’m a former collegiate endurance runner, so I love working with runners, but also athletes in general. I enjoy treating plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, and running biomechanics.
